To Be or Not To Be.....Happy

While listening to Matt Connor’s artist lecture his words kept echoing …Do what makes you happy. If making art doesn’t make you happy, then don’t do it. I can’t put quotation marks around that statement but that was the message that spoke out the loudest to me.
I kept thinking here I’m in grad school I should be ecstatic. But all I feel is pressure.
